Ukrainian photo model GALINA filmed by the famous German photographer ROBERT FREUND in an old ammunition dump on the Mediterranean island of Isola Santo Stefano, Sardinia not far from La Maddalena.

The island is currently not permanently inhabited. From 1973 to 2008 there was a NATO naval base and a base for US nuclear submarines in the eastern part of the island

In the south of the island at Cala di Villamarina are the ruins of two fortifications. The Torre Quadra was built in 1773, it is also called Torre Napoleonica because it was used by Domenico Millelire to repel an attack by Napoleon Bonaparte.

The second ruin is Fort San Giorgio, built in 1809 to protect the west side of the island.

Die Insel ist derzeit nicht ständig bewohnt. Von 1973 bis 2008 war im östlichen Teil der Insel ein Nato-Marinestützpunkt sowie eine Basis für US-amerikanische Atom-U-Boote

Süden der Insel bei der Cala di Villamarina stehen Ruinen von zwei Befestigungsanlagen. Der Torre Quadra wurde 1773 erbaut, er wird auch Torre Napoleonica genannt, da er unter der Leitung von Domenico Millelire zum Abwehr eines Angriffs von Napoleon Bonaparte diente.

Die zweite Ruine ist das 1809 erbaute Fort San Giorgio, es diente zum Schutz der Westseite der Insel.
